Worried about the impact of separation on kids?

It's not uncommon for parents to worry that a separation or divorce will harm their children. But it doesn't have to be that way.

Deciding to separate will change your family and each family member will have many questions about what to expect. Being able to address these questions will help everyone start this journey in the least stressful way.

Right now, you may be asking yourself:

  • How do we tell the kids about this?
  • How can we avoid hurting them?
  • What should we look out for in their behaviour that tells us that they're not doing well?
